The Austrian esp@cenet server has now been migrated to the new version of the EPTOS platform.
The database contains Austrian A and B documents and utility models, from 1995 to the present. German-language abstracts in searchable form are now being added gradually to the facsimile documents.
Thanks to EPTOS, the user interface now features more advanced search options, including full text and the use of date fields or multiple keywords. The flexible EPTOS structure also allows customisation to match specific usage profiles and the needs of users in Austria.
The Austrian Patent Office is holding a seminar on Industrial Property Rights – an Overview aimed at new esp@cenet users. In a second Workshop on patent searches, experienced patent examiners will be on hand to help participants conduct their own searches in the esp@cenet database.
